I made this bird toy especially for my Cockatoo Marshmellow. She started to pluck and I noticed that she was chewing on the sheath of her feathers. I realized the sheath was a lot like a straw. I decided to see if Marshmellow would chew the straw..........and she loved it.

This gave me the idea for a bird toy that would encompass both her need to chew wood and my straw idea. She now happily plays with this wonderful Porcupine bird toy instead of plucking at her feather sheaths!!

Parrot toy includes 40 straws, 5 colored wooden blocks 3" x 2.5" and 4 colored wood blocks 1" x 3" all strung together on bird safe 2.5mm nickel plated chain.

Parrot toy measures 23" long and 8" wide.
