    WOW seeing those Macaws in flight sent goose bumps up my arms, I always wondered why parrots eat dirt or clay. You have answered this question for me, but its raised another question. Do parrots need salt in there diet? Also do you know the name of the amazon parrots that are at the clay lick with the Macaws I’ve never seen them before?

      Hi Andy,

      I thought the video was amazing. I would love to see Macaws and Amazons up close in the wild like that. I am not sure what type of Amazons they are.
