Both my Cockatoo Marshmellow and my Amazon Kiwi just love to watch me pull them along. We are even thinking of making Kiwi a ramp because he just seems to love the speed!

Check out the video below of Kiwi demonstrating his need for speed on Animal Planet’s “Your Pet Wants This, Too”

I haven’t worked with my amazon as much with this bird prop as I could. He will sit on it if you put him there and even let you pull him along for a little bit, but I wouldn’t say he particularly enjoys it. It’s very cute for me to see him on, but I tend not to push him when it comes to things he’s not super excited about.

I gave this 4 stars because the wheels are dyed wood, which is something I did not immediately recognize. My bird pooped on it and when I washed it, the dye from the wheels bled. I just wasn’t expecting it, so just a heads up to anyone who goes to wash this, it will bleed a little. It seems they would use a different material than wood on a parrot toy not meant to be destroyed…

I purchased this for Jack, my African Grey, but my Caique, Billy Benjamin, loves it. He especially loves having my grand kids pull him around on it and so the greatest benefit of this toy it that it has allowed Billy B. to trust and bond with the grand kids. It’s just the right size as well.
